Best buy has this refurbished http://m.bestbuy.com/m/e/product/detail....1305147445. Zotac zbox sdid12. I now have a atv2 but it is not working well playing my ripped blurays. Any input would be aprecisted.

sadly just about anything is better than the atv2 (even atv1)
the zboxes are great for no 3d and no heavy skins

So the processor will be strong enough for full 1080p and hd sound. None of my bluray rips will play on the atv2 without being super jittery and buffering.

If you don't mind taking out the wifi module you could drop a crystalhd card in there and it'll play everything. Of course that will add to the overall price.
