Hi All,

I am particulary interested in the GSOC 2012 project whereby a focus on a client/server model was proposed, for example, to keep multiple XMBC instances in sync with regards to viewing metadata. Does anyone know how that is going? The page does not describe the current state of affairs.

I actually put together a quick summation for a GSOC blog that Google is putting together. I'm hesitant to publish that on our blog until Google has published it on theirs though. Also, you really won't get nearly as much info from that summation as you would from just reading the thread Ned posted.
