Rebooting and Upgrades
#1
Hi folks,

Two questions:

1. I've got a jailbroken ATV2 from 3-4 months ago. When I use it just as an Apple TV e.g. AirPlay-ing music, it reboots every 20 minutes or so. Not the end of the world, but annoying. Is this normal? If not, is there a way to fix it?

2. How can I tell what version of XBMC I'm running, and what the latest version is for iOS?

TIA

Check iOS FAQ (wiki) for both questions. If the troubleshooting section doesn't help fix the rebooting then see if you can get us a debug log (wiki) of when this happens and post the url to it in this thread.

Thanks for the reply.

1. This isn't XBMC specific, as the ATV2 crashes outside of XBMC (this may not have been clear). I can be using the ATV2 normally e.g. playing music, and it will reboot. I can't spot where this is mentioned in the XBMC FAQ, albeit not an XBMC specific problem, and more a jailbreak issue perhaps.

2. I'm running v11, Jul 2 2012. How can I find what the latest version is? I can't spot that in the FAQ.

Very odd. Might need a rejailbreak or something.

You have the latest version. v12 will be out any day, though.
