Win Frodo missing TV series
#1
Information
Hi

I am using Frodo RC2 with AEON NOX on Windows 7 system, and everything worked perfectly. My Windows install corrupted and I had to format & reload.

Now with this new install all of my music and movies load / list in XBMC correctly with no missing entries. But I am missing TV series. Out of 142 shows only 107 are scraped. I only use this system for XBMC so there is no other crap to get in the way / complicate.

I have tried:
- The "missing" TV shows appear in file mode but not in the library scraped
- Searching the WiKi and net for anyone with similar issues and not found any solves
- Removing TV source and re-adding
- Complete uninstall of Frodo inclusive of profiles
- Removing NFO of non-appearing shows and re-scraping
- Switching back to standard confluence skin
- Confirmed that hide video in skin settings is not on
- All my shows are named as TV Shows / TV Series / Season xx / TV Series SxEx (I use Sickbeard to manage the library)
- Using standard / default database
- In prior Eden install all TV shows appeared.
- Log file is here http://xbmclogs.com/show.php?id=29295
- Here are 2 photos showing TV shows in File mode and Library mode (Archer is not visible in Library mode & bottom corner shows total shows in each view)

I am at my wits end, any help much appreciated.

Hey freshmilk,

I have a very similar problem (as does a friend with exactly the same library). I've found a workaround but it's not ideal. Try viewing your TV directory using Video->Files. On a directory that is NOT in your library, bring up the context menu and choose TV Show Information. On mine (OSX) it immediately scans and add the show to the library. Now I'm not keen on doing that to the 50 or so I'm missing, but it'd be interesting to see if also helps you.

FYI, my TV directory structure is:
Code:
/tv
/tv/The Simpsons
/tv/The Simpsons/S01E01.avi
/tv/The Simpsons/S01E02.avi
/tv/The Wombles
/tv/The Wombles/S01E01.avi
/tv/The Wombles/S01E02.avi

Cheers
Scott

Thanks Scotia

It got really annoying so I reformatted, reloaded windows and XBMC. And for what ever star alignment on that day, the problem took care of itself.

This time I take weekly backups of the HTPC, so if it ever messes up, I have an easier time reloading a previous working image.

Weird ...
