Hi all,

I've been trying to access my pictures on my NAS from my iPad in a good and easily navigable gui. So far I did not succeed, I find it quite redicioulous that this is not possible and there is no app available to cover this.I have something in mind which handles similar to the iPad Photo app or basically XBMC (directories / albums with preview thumbnails)

These are the current options that I am aware of, however each has it's downsides:

1) Use an iPad file explorer app to access pictues: Not an option, as there is no file explorer app which is wife-friendly and also they do not show /cache any thumbnails
2) Use XBMC in iPad. I'm not a big fan of jailbreaking to be honest . Also, I think the GUI of XBMC is a bit overhead for this application.
3) Use an XBMC iPad remote app, show pictures on TV. I'm afraid I did not find an app yet to show pictures inside the app, only filenames.
4) Use a native app for the NAS: the QNAP mobile app is just plain crap

Does anyone of you have another idea? It's much appreciated!!
