DVD player for Raspberry Pi
#1
DVDPlayer is said to be XBMC's DVD video player. I've installed the latest(?)
OpenELEC-RPi.arm-devel-20121124031454-r12577 and cannot find it.

Is is available yet?

Thanks
Jim

Yeah, Raspbmc is using OMXplayer, which doesn't understand DVD .ifo files, although it will happily play .vobs IIRC.

I installed OpenELEC-RPi.arm-2.99.1 and tried again.
In System - Settings - Videos - DVDs I selected 'Play auto',
and inserted a DVD.

It tried to play, but I was lucky to get a few fps.

If it needs to be installed separately, no.
