#1
XBMC Frodo RC3(git)+Aeon Nox 4.0(git) crash on Ubuntu 11.10 when a video was skipped while it was the last item on the playlist. On Confluence all worked fine.

Crash does not produce a crashlog in xbmc's home directory. Xbmc completely locks up (freezing) and has to be killed with a killall -9.

try deactivating tvshow next aired script and see if that helps. definitely not a skin issue.

Nothinig helped. On Confluence when a video was skipped (on last item) a pop-up window comes up saying "Can`t find a next item to play" and on Aeon Nox 3.6.x too.
Here is confluence.xbmc.log for comparision: http://pastebin.com/XXTyP9dF

Just disable all addons that Nox uses and Confluence doesnt. Enable them one by one to find the addon that causes it.

Post #5 in this thread. Probably the problem is with script script.randomandlastitems (cannot be disabled in system settings)

Why script.randomandlastitems ?

Does Aeon Nox said it's OK ?

Image

Script does not appaer in addon enabled or in program because it's just a script.

I'm using it under Ubuntu 12.10 and I'm not the only one.

This script is not used when playing playlist, it's goal is to provide information on movies or TV shows from a smartplaylist to skin for display.
Sorry for my english, but, you know, I'm French so ...

Main HTPC : Odroid-C2 running CoreELEC with Titan Bingie
Secondary HTPC : Freebox Mini 4K running Android TV with Titan Bingie

Under Ubuntu 12.10 has this bug?

No, I mean I'm running Ubuntu 12.10 with smart playlist so my script script.randomandlastitems is used and I have no bug or issue.

But I don't use playlist for playing videos so I don't know if my XBMC will crash after playing last item of a playlist.

I have replaced /.xbmc/addons/skin.aeon.nox/1080i/VideoFullScreen.xml with this file from Nox 3.6.1. Worked with no problem. From Nox 4 not worked! Confused
