Android Why can not set resolution to 1080p ?
#1
Question
My tv do support 1080p, and my android tv box(which use AML8726-M3) output resolution already set to 1920*1080p.
But "output" in XBMC system settings there is no other choice except "1280*720", what the problem can it be ? Any answer would be appreciated.

1080p output is not possible atm. Most android hardware on the market is just not able to render our user interface with 1080p fast enough.

Thank Memphiz.
Does "1280*720" will lose any quality of video? Most of my movie files are 1080p.Rolleyes

what he means - movieplayback should be 1080p if the source has that resolution...
