hi,
i first replied to "autoupdate" on this forum but i think its totally separated from xbmc this way .. user can supply his own update/unpack servers by adding them to "xboxmediacenter.xml"
e.g.:
<urlunpack>
<item>
<name>update wallpaper</name>
<location>ftp://xx:[email protected]/wallpaper.zip</location> // ftp or http
<path>/f/apps/wallpaper</path>
</item>
</urlunpack>
wether the user updates a wallpaper or some other files doesn't matter anymore. and this function is now 100% legal.
tell me what you think?
sincerely, mnc_ :kickass:
