Many of my TV shows have a setup like this:

folder.jpg is the banner
season-all.tbn is the tv show poster

This worked in Eden, but on the update to Frodo, now a bunch of banners get stretched into a full size cover.

What would be the recommended way to fix this? Change a setting in Frodo/Transparency, or rename all my season-all.tbn's as folder.jpg's...

Also, what do I change folder.jpg to?

Use Confluence for a start to ensure things aren't skin related. On scan, XBMC should detect that a folder.jpg is a banner rather than a poster and assign it to the banner image. How the skin uses it is up to them - some skins force the aspect ratio (hopefully fewer than used to!)

Further, season-all.tbn was never intended to be THE tvshow poster, rather it was just the first non-season poster encountered, so is that way by chance - it was only ever used for the "All seasons" item, and that is still the only use of that image.

As to what is the preferred naming, refer to the Frodo FAQ on the wiki:

poster.jpg (if it's a poster)
banner.jpg (if it's a banner)
season01-poster.jpg
season01-banner.jpg
