I'm trying to reach my video collection on my openSUSE 12.2 box using nfs from Frodo but when I click on the menu item to set up the nfs source I just get the spinning throbber and then it return to the menu. Is there anything special I need to do or enable for nfs to work?
I'm using XBMCbuntu Frodo RC3 and the Aeon Nox theme. My openSUSE box is set to share via nfs and I can successfully reach files on the box from my other linux pcs with nfs so the problem seems to lie with the xbmc setup.

Thanks. Setting the insecure did indeed if it.
However, clicking on the NFS option when adding sources still doesn't seem to do anything. I assume it's supposed to open a GUI to enter the client side NFS settings.
Would this be a skin problem? I'm using Aeon Nox.

Idk when in trouble always use default skin. either way when adding source you should browse to available servers or enter nfs://serverip/share dont use hostnames.
Wiki shows you how to add nfs source in xbmc
