Hi, on XBMC 11 "Eden" i created custom thumbnails using the structure:

Foldername
Foldername.tbn (normal JPEG, just renamed the extension to TBN

Example:

Folder Name: My Little Pony FIM
Thumbnail name: My Little Pony FIM.tbn

So i get a thumbnail for every folder in files mode....

Since e upgraded to XBMC 12 "Frodo", this custom thumbnail does not work anymore....

I´ve tried to rename "foldername.tbn" to "foldename.jpg" and nothing...

How can i fix this?

Hi,

I'm having the same problem. I haven't found an answer if you get it to work reply to me. The problem is that it doesn't stay on the cache. If you leave it there for a few seconds on that page it starts to show up, but then it will disappear if you exit that folder.

Oh sorry...i figured out!

Instead of using the tbn extension, you need to take the "foldername.tbn" move to the folder and rename to "folder.jpg"

Example:

Old system (XBMC Eden 11)

Foldername
Foldername.tbn

So

Folder: My Little Pony FIM
Thumbnail: My Little Pony FIM.tbn

New System (XBMC Frodo 12)

Folder: My Little Pony FIM
take the "My Little Pony FIM.tbn", move to the folder My Little Pony FIM and rename to folder.jpg

So every folder you want to have a custom thumbnail place an image named "folder.jpg" inside and its done!
