Hi, I just built a new HTPC with an Asrock A75M, AMD A8-3850 + Big Shuriken 2, etc etc.
It works perfectly but the fan seems a little noisy, especially when i kept reading around that it was nearly-silent.
I tried playing with the fan settings in the bios, but the fan speed always stays at 1800RPM: do i need to do something else to change the fan speed?

Did you check your temperatures?

Those RPM seem too high to me.

SpeedFan reports a CPU temp of 20°C and the fan is running at 1792 RPM.
