Dear Community,
I'm new to XBMC and have a Problem with my Lenovo Q180 with Windows 8.
I'm using the Q180 with 4 GB Memory and a 60GB SSD.
The VGA Card is a ATI Radeon 6450 HD.
Here is the Problem:
The XBMC GUI is extremely slow.
Under Settings->Systeminfo->Grafics there are 2,3 FPS per Second...
Watching a movie or tv show is no problem. They are running smoth.
Any ideas?

It's likely a graphics driver problem, are you by any chance on AMD Beta v13 drivers?

I'm on the ATI 13.1 Drivers ATM
Does anyone know a working driver I can try?

Try v12.10, avoid v12.9 as that also caused issues

Btw, I don't have AMD so I'm just going by reports I've seen on here.

I am also experiencing this issue on my lenovo, xbmc performance in gui does not get above 12fps. Tried everything the only way i can get it at 60fps is to uninstall all AMD install and use generic windows driver for the card. But then I don't get HDMI audio with dts etc. Tried older drivers too still the same
Any advice?

I've got a similar issue, I upgraded from an E-350 to a G860 and while I was at it switched over from Eden to Frodo. The menus are actually slower than they were with the E350!
I'm running a 6450 as well so I'll try rolling back the drivers to 12.10 and see if that fixes it.
