Changes in core making subtitles misbehave
#1
I had posted this in the subtitles forum but Amet thinks its an issue with core rather than the plugin as nothing has changed in XBMCSubtitles,

I've had this issue since early alpha builds with Frodo...it doesn't seem to be mentioned a lot so maybe related to using ISO's for movies?

With XBMC 11, subtitles would download fine into the same folder as the movie etc...now they are trying to download to the same location as the stream within the ISO,

Subtitles are also horribly out of sync, by as much as 10-12 minutes.....no issues with version 11

Quote:Amet,

righto...I've created 2 log files -

1. Load XBMC, load film 'Polisse', click into subtitles and download appropriate subtitle from OpenSubtitles, nothing downloads to the movie directory, nothing displays....You can see from the log file it seems to be trying to play the subtitles from within the ISO container?

2. Load XBMC, load film 'Polisse', locate manually downloaded subtitles for film and enable, subtitles start at 10m 37s!!

People think we don't protect them"
