Hi guys

I new to apple tv and i just got apple tv 2 and it is on IOS 5.2 and i want to Install the XBMC (apple tv is already jailbroken).

Please can anyone help me out. i tried the instruction on http://wiki.xbmc.org/index.php?title=HOW..._2#ATV_5.x and the xbmc icon is not showing on my apple tv.

Please help me

I think you'll find as per http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=155276 (and the link in there to firecore website) that XBMC doesn't run under the latest iOS.

There is no IOS 5.2.
I suppose you mean Apple TV software 5.2 which is the same as IOS 6.1

As far as I know there is no jailbreak for apple tv 5.2 yet so it sounds weird, but I might be wrong...?

snowbreeze jailbreaks 5.2 but nothing works on it so there's no point yet.

Technically, it's two different things being released at the same time. One is the OS, which is iOS v6.1, and the other is the ATV software, which is 5.2. The numbering for the ATV software continued from v3 that the ATV1 had. Took me a while to catch on to that.
