I have movies with the extras as a separate video file in the same folder, but each section is a different video file so there are about 7 of them.
they show up in the movies list as the video name but like 5 of them. how do I get them to show up as extras for the movie or properly.

Maybe a feature?
when you select a Movie to play and you get the Info screen where you select Play or Trailer, have an option that says extra's and the number of extras you have for that video.
The Naming convention would be [extra]MoveTitle.mkv

I love DVD extras, so I have taken to using movie sets to group them together.
As an example, the Lord of the Rings extended DVD version has 29 extra features in addition to the 3 movies.
I named the collection folder "LOTR Collection". Inside is a seperate folder for each movie and extra. All are grouped by the LOTR Collection Set in the nfo's. The hardest part is creating the nfo for each extra, I used MC to edit each one.
