File locations??

Hey, in my windows install, i was able to change two images located in c/program files/xbmc/media but when i go to library/application (something)/XBMC/media on osx that folder is empty... where are the flat-image-120x120.png and flat-image-256x256.png files located on osx?

Right click the XBMC.app application and select "show package contents". However, you shouldn't add it there, you should add it to the location you already found. It will override the internal location, and it won't get deleted by updates.

Awesome, that is exactly what i was looking for... i really need to get more fluent with osx... i first got into computers on a macintosh II created some good hypercard apps a wardialer before there was one for mac... moved on to PC shortly after....

anyway, thanks that worked! OH FYI putting the images in the first location didnt work.. I had to overwrite them in the location you told me (right click, package contents).

Hi,
I was asking for some support in another thread relating to creating video nodes on latest OS X.
The wiki has question marks for MAC file location.

Can somebody shed some light on it here as I was advised to post here instead
I would like to find xml location for making a 'video node' on a OS X platform

Thanks

Right click the XBMC.app application and select Show Package Contents. Copy Contents/Resources/XBMC/system/library to ~/Library/Application Support/XBMC/system.

Ned,

The wiki page for XBMC Custom video nodes for OS X should reference /Applications/XBMC.app/Contents/Resources/XBMC/system/library.
