I was wondering if it is possible to record TV from XBMC using an ATV2 onto an external harddrive or laptop so I can watch it later offline?

I'm guessing u are talking about icefilms or project tv free or something similar which is illegal and can't be discussed on xbmc forums.

No i'm talking about any legal content that can be played, and just want to see what is possible. Why assume the worst??
