When i was spitting through mine xbmc.log file on an IOS device, i discovered my credentials from my SMB share where stored in the log.

Is this by design or should i make an second account for XBMC

you have added those as part of the url instead of using the credentialsmanager (where you have seperated username & password fields - its in add-videos->browse->add network location).
