Var/cache/apt/archives/partial is missing
#1
Hey guys! Seems so I did something rather stupid! Durin cleaning up my cashes I seem to have deleted
Var/cache/apt/archives/partial
As well...
I realized this today when I wanted to update to xbmc 12. When I wanted to uninstall xbmc-booter apt-get brought up this message:
Var/cache/apt/archives/partial is missing
What to do?
Could somebody send me his partial folder?
Would be awesome, as I can't update or install or do anything with apt -get atm!
At least xbmc still works, but I want to uptdate ;-)
Thank you very much!
Cheers guys!

What's the full message that it says to you when you try to uninstall? It should mention a command that will let you clean up anything like that. Clearing out that folder shouldn't actually hurt anything, so I wouldn't panic just yet :)

Got this problem. Here is a fix:

1. SSH to your ATV then execute in command line this one by one.
2. mkdir -p /var/cache/apt/archives/partial
3. apt-get autoclean

I think the third its not a must. After this you can install/uninstall without errors.
