Connecting to a SFTP source xbmx (Windows)

XBMC = 12.0 for Windows

I'm running windows 7 with the most recent updates and cannot connect to my SFTP server via the XBMC GUI. My log gives me the following error results:

16:06:55 T:1088 ERROR: SFTPSession: Not connected, can't list directory
16:06:55 T:1088 ERROR: XFILE::CDirectory::GetDirectory - Error getting sftp://myusername:[email protected]:23/ (Yes, I actually run SFTP on port 23 rather than the default port 22...)

I can connect to my SFTP server just fine on the same computer (on the local network and across the Internet) (I have tried several computers BTW) via the filezilla client so I'm not having a routing problem. This is my first real foray into the SFTP world. I've been running via FTP for a while and wanted to beef up the security so that I could share across the net with a few friends.

This page: http://wiki.xbmc.org/index.php?title=SFTP seems to indicate that you need to trust the host with a SFTP client before adding the source in XBMC. I have done this but notice this page is listed under "XBMCbuntu" heading. Is the SFTP protocol not implemented in the windows version even though it is listed? Am I missing a step?

Thanks in advance for any light you can shine on my confusion!

Welcome to the XBMC forums.

Log snippets aren't very useful. Please enable debug log (wiki)ging in XBMC, exit XBMC, restart XBMC, and attempt to connect to your server. When it fails, exit XBMC, locate your debug log (wiki) (xbmc.log), upload its contents to www.xbmclogs.com and post the assigned URL for your uploaded log here with your reply. Thanks.

Here is the link to the log http://www.xbmclogs.com/show.php?id=35868

I redacted my password and host. If you need this info specifically let me know
