I have just set it up on my Win7 and with the latest XBMC, the Movies list loads fine, only no buttons on the remote work.
The now playing screen works and can load any movies I want to watch, just have no control over them.

Another annoyance that I cant figure out either is that my Tv Shows list wont load, it says "Exception Invalid params." Which I see a few others on the net have had problems with.
Any help? Cheers guys

Sorry, didnt see the "official thread" up the top, henseforth I've now read a post saying, "offical app is broken due to recent release".

I'll try a different app, any suggestions?

Thanks, just installed Yatse and it is amazing! Love all the options ie. subtitle and audio selections aswell!

I ran into the same issue with the official app and Frodo. I got it to work by setting the Event Server port in the app to 9777.
