Hello,
This is my first add-on (disclaimer I am not most experienced programmer) that being said I have made an add-on that works if I manual install it. But if I zip it up and try and install it through XBMC I get "Add-on Does not have the correct structure". Just can't figure out why it works only installs manually (copying in addons folder) I want to be able to distribute it at some point so a manual install only is not an option

I am testing this on the latest release of Raspbmc

As above, URL is not working. However there are two things you could look at:
1. Turn on XBMC debugging and check the log file
2. If you are using a rcs system (svn/git) then the hidden .svn or .git folders can cause issues on zip installs.
