Hi

I have a windows 8 pc and use the XBMC Launcher to boot straight into XBMC. I recently installed Bonjour to allow me to use Airplay. However i've just had an email from the wife to say he's booted up the box and its come up with an Apple update message and she can't do anything.

I generally only use XBMC commander to control the XBMC so have no other way for her to control the box (until i get home and connect a keyboard to install the updates)

Does anyone know the best way to prevent this happening in the future?

I think you accidentally installed one additional "feature" which is activated by default.

Just deinstall the program "Apple Software Update" which should appear in the list of your programs.
