hi, i have the latest xbmc build and i'm trying to stop the start.wav file from playing at startup, i heard you need to edit the autoexec.py located in the scripts folder, but i can't find that file anywhere, where is the command coming from to play that soundfile?

i'm typing this from memory since i'm not near my xbox.

the start up wav file is located in the media directory (ex: e:\apps\xbmc\media)

all you have to do is delete this wav file or rename it and it will no longer play at start up.

if this doesn't help then please let me know.

ok. the whole autoexec file is commented out. i saw the start.wav in the media folder. i wanna know how i can change the startup music. how would i go about doin that? thanks in advance.

just replace start.wav with your own file
