Win How to programmatically change xbmc's brightness and contrast values?
#1
Hi folks,

after a fair deal of searching, changing the video player's brightness and contrast settings still seems next to impossible.

The values I want to change (via remote) are located in video-settings -> { brightness, contrast }, accessable while a video is playing.

I don't really care how to do it, as long as it's not a workaround and it's working on frodo (JSON, an add-on, cmd-line, C#/Java code, all fine). Unless someone figured out how to remote control the NVIDIA forceware video color settings, that would be awesome too Smile (nview doesn't offer those settings)

I've been trying to do this for weeks using various external tools but none of this workarounds was satisfactory. And why use another tool if I could change the values in nvidia drivers or xbmc directly, seems to be a bit of an overkill.

Thanks in advance!
