I got this log from a user: http://www.xbmclogs.com/show.php?id=1032
The gist of it is that the fist two times
UpdateLibrary(video,smb://192.168.120.178/Media/TV Shows/) is called, but the scanner finds nothing.
Then UpdateLibrary(video) is called and it finds files in the path above. The files are clearly present during the two scans (see watchdog debug lines)
I don't have this problem myself btw. At first I thought it was encoding problems, but url encoding it first doesn't work at all.
Also, what are you supposed to do with commas in the path string? E.g if you pass UpdateLibrary(video, /tv, shows/) xbmc will scan the path "/tv," instead of "/tv, shows/"
