Low Music sound level in XBMCBuntu

I get very low sound levels when I play music in Frodo Xbmcbuntu. The sound levels in movies and TV shows etc. are way higher and only when I play any Mp3/Mp4a - the sounds drops a lot.
Any pointers will be very helpful.

Take a look a the "PreAmp-Level" unter "Config(or System)" -> "Music" -> "Playback"
