What resolution/refresh rate with Intel HD 2000?
#1
Hello
My system uses an Intel G860 which I believe has HD 2000 graphics.
My TV is LG 47LM5700 1080p 60Hz TV. I set the picture output to JustScan to ensure 1:1.

On the Win 7 desktop I run the Intel graphics properties and it's at 1920x1080 and refresh rate 59i by default.
When I open XBMC the resolution shows as 1080i and I see 60fps when I look in System Info.

I'm not sure why it is defaulting to 1080i. When I switch XBMC to 1080p then things act a little slower and I notice its only 30fps in Sys Info.

When I go to desktop and change the refresh to 59p (or 60p...still not sure of difference between the 59 and 60 options) then there is some vertical overscan. That is, the screen cuts off at the top for some reason.

Can anyone tell me if all this is 'normal'? I assumed I should be using 1080p but should I just leave things at 1080i in XBMC and 59i on my Intel settings?

Thanks
