I'm running Windows 7 on an Acer Revo Pc, which has been extremely reliable and functional, but ever since I upgraded to frodo, I have not been able to play DVD without it being choppy / stutters. Same goes for video in a certain format (X264 720P, about 1 gig per hour). I can still play X264 SD (350MB per hour) without an issue.
This PC was set up on XMBC 9 and upgraded over time, to 12 but the old skins didn't like the new version. I uninstalled all traces of Frodo and reinstalled. but it did not resolve the problem.
I am able to use Windows media player to view DVDs and the other files without issue.
anyone have a suggestions. I'd rather keep using the newest version of XBMC than roll back to an older version.
