Here is the steps

1 - system > settings > Add-ons - > Install from zip file - > Root filesystem - > mnt - > sda1
2 - system > file manager > Add source > Browse > Root filesystem - > mnt - > sda1
/mnt/sda1

I did the following:

1. System -> File Manager -> Add Source
   
2. Browse to Root File System -> /storage -> /external_storage -> /hdx
   

Now I have hdx listed in the sources and could easily select it to add videos / music.

First post
Hopefully someone can help with my problem.

M8 box with kodi 15.2 installed
Blackbox build installed
MEGATRON installed

when my external 2TB HDD is connected it is not recognised.
Have ES file explorer installed & that "sees" the drive but none of the files ?
Any help really appreciated.

hi guys...
im trying to add my usb stick to the library...so that i can play videos using the android app.

but the problem is the USB is not showing up in the browse window.

i can see it in RootFileSystem-> media but not inn mnt folder

however when i add it from the media folder...i cant see any option of "scan media to library" option.

help help help!!!

Hi guys

im really freaking out here.

i can see my flash drive in the media folder but not in 'mnt' folder.

however when i add the source from media folder, i cant see any option to 'scan item to library'...which is necessry for me to play videos from the mobile application.
