Hello everyone, I was after some advice. With XBMC, if im streaming from my computer to apple tv2 will the sound be dolby digital? Also will it play 1080p films? Thanks for any advice tips etc

Depends on what you mean by streaming. Are you planning to use Airplay or share a folder and then play it from XBMC? Playing 1080p works most of the time, but not with all movies, and you only display 720p. Dolby digital works great

Thanks ive now jailbroken my ATV2, how do I get my movies from my macbook to apple tv. Im very new to this so looking for an idiots guide. Ive searched the forums but cant find what im looking for

Setup a nfs share on your mac
