Hi all,
Does anyone know which recording format uses the least amount of system resources?

I would guess at TS by a fraction, since there's no remuxing involved - it's just a raw stream. That said, it's likely to be an irrelevance in terms of overhead compared to actually writing the file and associated disc I/O.
