[Windows] [Frodo] Freezing during Playback
#1
I am having an odd problem that happens regardless of what video is playing.
Here is a little infornation about my system:
XBMC: Frodo, 12 - Stable
OS: Windows 7
CPU: Intel i3 Processor
RAM: 4GB DDR3 RAM
HDDs: 3x 2TB WD Caviars, 1x 1TB WD Caviar, 1x 320GB Seagate Momentus (OS Drive)

When playing video, it works great. No problems, video looks great, Surround Sound works great.
Then all of the sudden the video freezes, XBMC shows 'Buffering' and locks up.
The current video playing freezes for about 5-10 seconds, then closes back to whatever XBMC menu I was at previously, (most of the time, occasionally the movie starts working after pausing for a moment)
I can play the video again immediately and it starts working.
This happens once every 15-30 minutes.

Also, the HDD indicator light on my Antec Nine Hundred Two stays solid.
I have all the drives mapped locally (D:/Movies, E:/Movies) (Not //HTPC/Movies)
All movie folders contain Fanart.jpg/ and folder.jpg files, maybe .nfo files. Nothing else (generated by MediaCompanion)

I am not ruling out one of the HDDs being the issue, I have had problems with these stupid things before.
I am thinking it is either:
A) XBMC - I don't know why, but this seems to be a Frodo thing (could be coincidence)
B) My main HDD - Used it in my laptop for years, didn't have issues
C) One of these other pain-in-my-ass 2TB HDDs...

When watching video on VLC (Does not happen often, maybe 5% of the time) we don't seem to have any freezes.

I am looking for troubleshooting suggestions.
It is very annoying when trying to enjoy a film (totally intrusive with Zero Dark Thirty & Flight, heh)
What do you all think?
Mini Aussie wants results...
