Android BobDroid - Control boblight from Android (Now on Play)
#91
Nah, you are right. This only happened when you start the mood light and dont move the slider at all.

It should be fixed now:

Whats the lowest speed (most delay) you would use?

I don't know? maybe 10 seconds, 20 or 30 for a transition?

The slider is 500-0ms delay what is the slowest you would use?

just approximately where the slider when it is just to slow, so I can change the vaule.

I would say its a bit more than half, so something about 150-200ms.

Any idea for a icon for the speed slider? No idea what to use to make clear that it change the speed/delay, so I can remove the text.

yeah it's the same here, at about half it's starting to get really slow

Thanks for the fast feedback.

Moved Circling and Snake to a single tab.
Some cleanups and fixes.

Still open for new features but if there are no major problems with this version I try to get the additional Layout so I can throw it on Play.

nice, tested it.

if you are still open for new features, i have some more ideas.

how about, notification options, like in yatse, what the notification plugin does for yatse, that you can configure it so apps like, whatsapp, gmail, etc.. to make boblight flash a couple of times when there is a new mail, or new whatsapp message, but this is probably alot harder to code?

what also would be really cool is geofencing like the philips hue lights have, if you come near your house, boblight will automaticly put the lights on if it's dark outside, this could be through gps, wich is probably hard to code, or through detecting the wifi network of your home router, maybe less hard to code.. I don't know...

options to automaticly put lights on and off at configurable times, for example when your on vacation, so burglars think someone is home.... I think the philips hue lights also have this....

Voice control with the google voice api, by saying, lights on/off, lights [name a color], etc...

I have to read into them.

Should I make the buttons of the Light Board bigger for Tablets?

I can see how they look but without a physical tablet its kinda hard to say.

or give more buttons for tablets, 4x5 for tablet instead of 3x4 for phones, i would prefer more buttons, by making the buttons bigger, i dunno it maybe looks stupid really huge buttons, i like the size they allready have...

I leave it like it is for now more buttons would mean changes in the Code, not only the Layout.

Changed the bottom bar for Mood and Wheel.

Small changes, added a tutorial for the first start.

If this is working I upload it to google, see if other ppl have problems and then start working and new features.
