I am using the 12.0 Frodo and I am facing a problem. Some of my videos' volumes are way down. This problem happens only with some of the videos and not all of them.
If you are thinking ""press the + button", I have already done that and its at 100%

I have the same problem, with music and movies with stereo sound 2.0. Mac mini 2012, hdmi sound to Samsung HTC.

Try setting xbmc speaker config to 2.1 or use a nightly build...
