Output reduced to qarter of the TV
#1
Start to play movie from the network drive using AWXi webinterface and the output reduced to the quarter of the monitor. After I stoped video the screen left reduced. When I push ESC button it changes from bigger to lower part of the display but not fullscreen. Between changes fullscreen mode is blinking but than changing to the bigger one again. What could be the reason of such behaviour and how to change it back to fullscreen?

Debug log (wiki) needed of when this happens. Also, does this happen when you are using the normal ATV remote?

I doesn't happen - it just happened once and I can't change it anymore Sad
Here is the photo of how it looks like: https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-GnAjo...AG0290.jpg

And the following is in the debug log when I press ESC button in the web interface:

It's switching between fullscreen and "windowed" mode. I don't know why it's not going back when you press escape again.

Try downloading Cyberduck (wiki) and make an SFTP connection to the ATV2 (username:mobile, password: alpine) and delete

/var/mobile/Library/Preferences/XBMC/userdata/guisettings.xml

then reboot the ATV2

and that will reset all the GUI settings.

Greate! It works!!! Smile Thank you!

First I removed the file, but all my preferences removed as well, so I decide to find the difference between my guisettings.xml and the new one that was created. There were a lot of different attributes values, but what really helped is to remove (I replaced it by <resolution/> tag) following section:

Code:
<resolutions>
        <resolution>
            <description>Windowed</description>
            <subtitles>463</subtitles>
            <pixelratio>1.000000</pixelratio>
            <overscan>
                <left>0</left>
                <top>0</top>
                <right>720</right>
                <bottom>480</bottom>
            </overscan>
        </resolution>
        <resolution>
            <description>1280x720</description>
            <subtitles>463</subtitles>
            <pixelratio>1.000000</pixelratio>
            <overscan>
                <left>0</left>
                <top>0</top>
                <right>899</right>
                <bottom>495</bottom>
            </overscan>
        </resolution>
    </resolutions>
