I'm running XBMC on Mountain Lion 10.8.3
I have a Gyration MCE Remote with keyboard on a RF wireless usb dongle.
Not all buttons are working.

What is the best remote for XBMC on MacOS?
Apple Remote is not an option.
And a Remote needs a receiver.

I use a harmony remote with my MacMini/TV/Soundbar. its all IR so going through the menus is slower than RF.
I was thinking of getting one of those Motorola xbmc remotes that have RF and IR
