I've set up XBMC and the programme was having trouble finding some of my media files. I finally found out it as due the the sharing permissions of any newly created/download video files in Windows 7. The default setting for new files means they are not seen by XBMC - I am now able to change them manually after files are created. Does anyone know how to change the default setting for sharing permission on newly created files - so it does it for me. The folder they are saved in is shared but that doesn't change the settings of new files.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
