I've got a pair of builds on the go here...

One for an associate:
Intel D510MO (BIOS 0542)
2x 2GB KVR667
Seagate 160GB 7200RPM (OS)
WD 1TB Green (Media)
HIS Radeon HD 5450 PCI

One personal:
GA-E350N-USB3
RAM + HDD (detailed specs to follow)
No add-in video card at this time

Wondering if there are any particular items to be concerned about for either build (Windows 7 x64 OS on both).

Okay, well I've found an issue with build #1 (the Intel Atom D510) - mouse movement in the XBMC GUI is absolutely painful... fine in Windows. Does the XBMC UI use hardware or software rendering (or can anything be done to tweak it's resource usage)?

This is with the system a few minutes after a fresh Windows boot (after chkdsk /V /R and defrag, no other programs manually started), the only background software being AMD CCC and Microsoft Security Essentials.

EDIT: Reversion to Catalyst 12.10 drivers completely removed UI issues on Atom box.
