After performing an apt-get update && apt-get upgrade my AppleTV2 is crashing before it even shows the apple logo.

Thankful for any tips on what could be going wrong. Nothing stood out evidently to me anyway.

before it even shows the apple logo? Then its out of the scope of XBMC. Apt-get upgrade might have updated other third party libs which now crash your system.
