Hi folks,
the time has come for me to upgrade my home server and my budget is pretty low (under £200)
i want to build a backend server that will be a one stop shop for downloading and live tv.
i was looking int purchasing an HP Proliant microserver- you can pick them up here in the uk for under £200, stick some hard drives in it and a dvb card and i basically have what i need.
HOWEVER - on perusing ebay, i noticed that you can pick up rackmount xeon servers fairly cheap.

now my question is, would i be able to stick a dvb card in one of these and install a copy of ubuntu server? (this one listed does have two pcie slots)
would it be as simple as i think it would?
