Those that have been using XBMC with the NextPVR addon will know that channel changes can be pretty damn slow. This was due to some stream analysis done by XBMC before it begins playback of the stream. Thankfully margro and FernetMenta have been working on fixing this, and it looks like it's pretty close to being resolved.
The build that margro posted at https://dl.dropbox.com/u/7249985/xbmc/xb...margro.exe, gives me channel changes that take about a second on my DVB-S tuner, when used with the new NextPVR 2.6.2 release. A big improvement.
