Although the MediaPortal PVR addon works quite reliably, I've found after leaving TV running for a while it goes terribly out of sync. I can fix it by skipping back and then forward again but that's obviously not good.

Sometimes it's been maybe hours before it's happened (I've had the TV on in the background so haven't been watching it keenly) but other times I've found it happens not that long after starting LiveTV (maybe 15-20mins).

Try this setting in your advancedsettings.xml;

<cachemembuffersize>0</cachemembuffersize>

You'll need to restart xbmc at least for this to take effect.
