Hi,

I am completly new to xmbc. I have set up xbmc on the laptop, and now looking to get a set top box. Initially to use with navix, and then more features as I get used to it. I have read reviews on the gbox slav and midnight.

Am I better off getting the midnight or slav, or some other alternative? Can anyone point me in the right direction.?

xbmc on android is still fairly new, meaning,
do not expect too much out of it.

if u want, the pivos xios is what many would recommend since it
allows hardware accel for playing back 1080P movies without stutter
and using the default xbmc built-in player.

I will have a look at the Pivos Xios. I have been told, by a seller, that the slav is running the linux version of xbmc which boots direct into xbmc and is very easy yo use. The midnight is running an android operating system so you have the full android experience including xbmc
