Hello,

After upgrading xbmc from 12.0 to 12.1, all my movies are playing at about 1fps.
All other frames are dropped.
Movies play fine in VLC.

Until this is resolved, I'd like to downgrade to 12.0.

How can I achieve this?

The xbmc ppa no longer contains 12.0 and the ubuntu official ppa for Quantal only contains 11.0 and Raring only 12.0RC3.

Only option to build from source?

Problem looks solved, so no need anymore to downgrade.

The upgrade process seems to have reset some of my settings (shortcuts for example).

Also the audio settings were changed, so my audio output device was set to PulseAudio Soundserver.
When I changed it to what I used to have (HDMI) everything started working again.
