i have a i7 /3.4ghz intel-graphics machine. it's a file+www+encoding server, with latest ubuntu, and by the way, a xbmc / Frodo on it, for the connected LCD.
when in xbmc menu, or watching movie, cpu usage is 2-5% on one core.
when in slieshow-screensaver (the python one), or in plain slideshow, the whole CPU gets fully used, like 500-700% in `top` - all cores.
i have disabled all possible image-pre-calculations = nothing gets read or written, but still there are 6-7 xbmc processes there doing nothing in a very busy way,
Any idea how to avoid that?
this takes all the power, runs all the fans, ...
if nothing works, i'll have to stop the xbmc and only run it for movies, or just remove it.
