[PseudoTV] Guide for adding strm channels
#31
(2013-05-26, 02:56)Lunatixz Wrote: any strm that doesn't resolve the url on its own... (no user input) and a strm that fails to load will break ptv. I only recommend using strms you know work all of the time...

So 1channel is mostly out of the picture. Since there is no guarantee that any stream will actually work. Sticking to Hulu stms would be my best bet then I presume?

They can be used now, follow the guide... you have to manual create the strm and nfo.
I have a build that will add strms through the ptv channel manager without the need for nfos but its not going to be release until I fix a syncing issue with the epg...

I already used a url snooper to get the rtmp link... not sure what you mean by updating the rtmp driver, but if you mean replacing the librtmp file I already did it and the JTV plugin already plays streams successfully. If you mean something else, I'm using Windows 7, not sure where to find "rtmp driver". I have other rtmp streams that works successfully from the library and within PTV as well, but I still get an "unplayable item" error when I create strm file from justin tv stream.

Here's the log:

Obviously, the stream is working in the JTV plugin as well as directly on justin.tv. I also tried more than one stream, and I'm not able to make any stream from JTV to play from the XBMC's library.

I know I have a few strms from JTV working... but perhaps there are a few that have issues with xbmc... I'll look into it in detail when I have some free time.
