So I'm going to buy a new router.
My current router is a d-link dir-655 and I also have a Dir-615 as a bridge.
All of my connections are wired and through gigabit switches at my 2 media centers
My needs are HTPC as well as the usual pc network stuff

So if you were going to buy a new router what would you pick for the best streaming capabilities?
I think I'm partial to d-link just for consistancy reasons. Possibly the DIR-857

If it is all wires, you cannot beat these router and switch at this price- TP-link TL-R470T + TP-Link TL-SG1005D.....

So ,because I hardwired do I need to be concerned with things like "dual channel" and those kind of specs ?

I like the Asus RT-N66. Very customizable, uses a similar os as dd-wrt(actually called Asus-wrt)
